Disappointed I missed it. I haven't seen them perform yet. Nrityagram is probably the latest and perhaps the smallest addition to some of the big names in dance schools in India but is most certainly growing exponentially. Kalakshetra (http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/kalakshetra/), perhaps the oldest dance school in India is as exciting but it's a shame they don't tour as often as the former. I was always under the impression that Odissi and Bharathanatyam were very different forms of dancing but it was only after I started learning the latter that I realised that all 8 forms of Indian Classical dancing have the same soul to it. Be it Kuchipidi, Kathak, Manipuri, Odissi or Bharatham. You couldn't have put it better, dance to a dancer is indeed spiritual!
