when i was about 8, i made a friend i’d never lose. no matter where our lives took us, we were simply destined to meet and make merry as friends do time and time again. more than a decade down the line, i wonder what still makes it worth the while. it is because she is simply great, and beautiful and we will never have nothing in common ; we will always have something to laugh about, something to talk about, and if all else fails, we will most certainly have something to reminisce about.
i lost track of her for far too long. having spent the second consecutive new year’s eves with her in december 2006, i started to really appreciate her re-entrance into my life. thanks to our dancer-lives, our childhood antics, old friends and finally her brother, we are never to be parted, thank you very much.
