jazz, white, and some red

despite the hedious prom-night decor of cardboard stars and bright blue UV lights, despite the really bad (but free) wine and all the unforgivable mingling going on while people should have been paying more attention to jerome speldewinde, despite, even, the terrible DJ music that we somehow managed to tolerate, last night in the lower crystal room of the taj samudra was great.

we tried really hard to keep jerome where we wanted him the most, behind the microphone, guitar in hand. we asked for encore after encore but he had a ‘plane to catch’.

we danced the night away, rather badly, as arun will proudly tell you. all of us together, gave that party exactly what we needed (high five, twiggy). we reached a sheer delirium and went outright crazy.

the atmosphere wasn’t ideal, i still hold the warmth of the friday nights at DBU with jerome real, real close, but the food was good and the drinks were free. and we were all together, happy and loving each other from beginning to end.

all my crazies were great. here’s to more and more and more!
